All of jams are made the same way with natural ingredients – our own home grown fruit, sugar, natural citrus pectin & monocalcium phosphate. To give our Pepper Jams that little extra kick, we add jalapeno and habanero peppers. Jalma Farms Jams have about ½ the sugar of regular jams, relying on their natural goodness and sweetness.

Jalma Farms Recipes
All of our recipes work with any of our 4 Jalma Farm Jams.  We leave it to you to decide which best suits your palette.

Alma’s Sautéed Chicken
Boneless chicken breast 1 per person
¼ cup sliced almonds per serving
Jalma Farms Jam to taste (2 Tbsp. per serving)

Brown chicken in heavy pan, reduce heat, add jam and cover until done, stirring occasionally. Add almonds to warm through. Serve over bed of rice or quinoa.

Baked Jalma Salmon
Salmon filet (1/4 to 1/2 pound per person)
Jalma Farms Jam to taste
Dried Minced Onion (or fresh if you’re feeling energetic) to taste
Dried Garlic powder (or fresh) to taste
Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Line a baking sheet with ungreased foil.  Place fish skin side down.  Spread generous layer of jam on fish.  Sprinkle with desired amount of onion, garlic and pepper.  Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes depending on thickness of fish.  When done, serve skinless by simply sliding spatula between fish and skin; skin should stick to the foil.

Shorely Scrumptious Carrots
Carrots cut on the diagonal ½” thick
Butter, Olive Oil or Coconut Oil 1-2 tbsps. or more depending on amount of carrots
Jalma Farms Jam 1-2 tbsps. or more depending on servings
In a large enough sauté pan to hold all the carrots comfortably, melt Coconut oil (butter or olive oil) over medium heat. Add carrots and jam.  Cook until tender stirring occasionally.
